A hint of spring to come

If you’re sitting in a part of the country currently covered in snow, here’s a bit of color to make you smile.

Katie-girl says to be patient…spring will get to you soon.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Thanks, Dawn – I needed that! At least 8 more weeks before spring colour takes hold here!

  2. Beautiful spring festiveness in your pictures. Things are beginning to pop in MissouREE but we have snow and 20 degree temps on the way for the weekend… shoot! Going to be 75 today! The weather is crazy!!! Going to enjoy this 75 degree day and take a walk… inspired by Katie and you! Walked yesterday, too!

  5. These must be down south — no way your part of the country is showing such beautiful signs this early, right?!!

  6. In the southern hemisphere is is edging closer to winter but still very warm. Cape Town is in the midst of a severe drought with dam levels at 31.6% as of the 6th. In 2014 it was at 79% at this time of the year. As winter is our rainy season we are craving winter. There is a possibility that the water can run out.
