I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

It’s been raining most days. Everything in Virginia seems to be very very very green.

Me too. Can’t get over how very green it is here. And it’s that spring green, sort of bright, the woods aren’t totally dark yet. Very beautiful.

Flowing greenery…and it’s coming our way soon, we hope! Will be heading downstate to be with my mom sometime this month and am hoping to see some of these vibrant greens down in your neck of the woods.

Well…if I’m back home when you’re down maybe we can meet somewhere. We’ll see how it goes! I hear it’s been nice up there. We finally, after one week on the road, got a day without rain!
