I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Yes. She’s very upset by the cancer thing and believes it is totally unfair. So she’s letting it know.

It’s one of her favorites because it often gets her exactly what she wants. But not always.

She was disgusted because we didn’t come right out and let her in. So she’s not looking at us.

We don’t jump at her request all the time. Usually she gets distracted by something and is perfectly fine being out there longer. Unless it’s raining. Occasionally we forget she’s out there and it begins to rain. Then she tells us off.

I had Miss Sadie and the Cowboy out on the “playpen” – the deck with the gate closed – yesterday, and forgot about them. I should have taken a picture of the two of them staring through the door at me, looking woebegone.

I’m sure they think we don’t love them at all.

Yes, she wanted to come inside. It was supper time. Her clock is always on time. Or a little early. Or a lot early. I went and got her right after that last shot.

She loves to be outside and will sit happily out there on her princess pillow watching the world go by for hours. But when she wants in she wants in. NOW!
