Any time I can get near one of our Great Lakes I’m in my happy place.
You can see other people’s happy places at the original post. It’s very early in the week…so I haven’t selected any favorites yet. You’ll have to go check them all out.
Meanwhile…where is your happy place? I’d love to see it!
I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

It’s kind of a universal happy place I think.

Sunlight on the sand, footsteps — very evocative. And happy, yes.

We used to live near Lake Erie, on the east side of Cleveland. Now we’re closer to Lake Michigan, in the western suburbs of Chicago. 🙂 The Great Lakes are truly great.
