I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I think the one on the left is the mom…the baby kept going behind that one. I only stayed a minute, neither parent seemed upset that the car stopped. This was taken with a zoom, I wasn’t really this close. Still…no sense getting them upset. Would have loved to stay and watch longer.

I know. All the cranes seem to be less bothered by humans in the most recent years. Hopefully this one will make it. Love the long legs.

Agree. I was lucky to see them. I was out looking for another photo for the WordPress photo challenge…this would have worked for that too..but it wasn’t what I was looking for. Caught these three out of the corner of my eye and went back. They are beautiful.

Ah Dallas, they’d beat your up if you got near their baby. I’m pretty sure.

Yes they are beautiful. Though there are more and more of them around, and I hear they are becoming a problem for farmers.

They are stunningly beautiful. I’m lucky to be able to see them pretty often. Not necessarily THIS pair..but they seem to be all around lately.
