I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Snow happens. Winter has the last word, spring is here to stay. From my computer to Gods ears.

We stayed really cold too, so the snow didn’t melt much…but the sun is out today so I have hope.

That snow was us yesterday. Everywhere else in the area it’s already melted. Not at my house. The snow loves us. I think it’s time we split up.

You could try to get a snow divorce. Don’t think you’d succeed there though.

I know. I suppose sometime in the heat of August I’ll miss the snow. Maybe. Or not.

Ah, yes, what a winter it’s been, and what a spring we’re having! Snow will soon be gone, however. I have faith!

I’m glad you do. We sort of think the snow will last forever and ever and ever and…

We just had a light dusting, but Dallas raced outside and promptly rolled around in it (like he’d finally found his long-lost friend, ha!)

We’re a long way from summer, that’s for sure. Though I’m sure soon enough I will be complaining about having to weed and mow and haul mulch.

Good grief! We had a little snow on the deck this morning, but thankfully it’s going to warm up again soon. Freeze warnings tonight, though. I’m sorry you’re still getting snow. It’s time for Old Man Winter to go.

I think Katie’s fur looks freshly brushed even when it’s blowing in her face.
