What? That’s not a popular concept?
Huh.
After years of no crop we almost gave up and didn’t plant any tomatoes this year. Still…it’s hard to give up on the hope for fresh homegrown tomatoes. So husband planted 6 plants.
Guess it worked out.
Katie loves tomatoes. She heads right out to the garden to see if she can pick any for herself whenever we’re outside. She’s feeling a bit put out that her dad picked so many for us. If any were to accidentally fall on the floor she wouldn’t complain about cleaning them up.
She’s still waiting.

Yum!!!!!!!!! Fresh tomatoes are on my list of top ten foods.
Chewy is like Katie – always helping himself to the cherry tomatoes.

I think Chewy and Katie are the same dog and they teleport themselves back and forth between our homes.

Those are gorgeous! I planted just two cherry tomato plants…and I planted them just so that I can walk out and pop them into my mouth 🙂 Enjoy your Thursday!

We didn’t do a garden this year, but oh, how I miss fresh tomatoes! And Katie really eats them, too? Cool!

I see sauce in your future, lots and lots of tomato sauce. I have a friend who gives me 2 jars of homemade tomato sauce and a hard slab of parmesan cheese for Christmas every year and it is one of my favorite gifts. Pretty tomatoes!

Wowee! And I thought I had a good tomato year! Your crop blows mine away! I did plant fewer plants this year and I think that does help increase the yield when the plants are less crowded.
